Moody — emotional diary
My roles: Product Owner, Designer, Marketer
My own product, end to end: product owner, designer and marketer for an iOS mood-tracking app.

The team
Moody is my personal project where I tried different roles as product owner, designer and marketer. I worked with a developer to build the app for iOS, and a junior graphic designer helped with graphic assets.
The experience
1. The beginning — v1.0. Moody formed around the idea of helping users do more activities based on their moods. Features include mood tracking and presets of activities auto-generated when a user is sad, bored, happy, angry. To collect the activity presets, I conducted surveys with friends and family to build up the database. The app launched on the iTunes Store for iPhone.
2. The growth — v2.0. Interacting with more users via email to grow the database. Added backup and import per user request. The fun part was finding the marketing method to launch the app to a wide audience — through different channels we hit a peak of 3,600 downloads in one day.
3. Rebrand — v3. After nearly a year of development, time for a rebrand: leaving the old visual-effect look behind, Moody adopted flat design and vector icons. Alongside this update, a Pro version with in-app purchase and an iPad version reached a wider audience.
