The Experience
SmartDay is the first application that I experience the design a product in multi platforms. The design starts when Skeuomorphism is still main stream. So I worked a lot on graphic design to create an application that reflect the notebook styles in real life. When the app is released, I worked with QA team to understand customer feedback and improve the app version by version.
The Highlight
SmartDay (OSX, iOS, Web): is a productivity application that helps you organize your Appointments, ToDos, Notes in each Projects. You can also fill in your daily timeline with ToDos to use time more efficiently.
Scrapbook (iOS): is a note/photo diary where you can add travel pictures and summary of the day. You can also customer your scrapbook collections with beautiful skins
I was honored to represent company to advertise the product in two important events in San Francisco:
- MacWorld (2012) : This is a marketing fair where presenters will marketing about intuitive applications. I had a chance to present some of company productivity apps
- The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) (2013): Bring in the current code and GUI of the product to get advises from Apple's Evangelists and Programmers
Main Duties
- Involve as a facilitator to help team improving productivity in daily tasks
- Work with product owner to help visualize the concept
- Help produce UI, app icons and graphics elements for the app
- Involve in UI/UX design to solve navigation issues
- Practice on product usage to create user cases
- Support in producing graphics for Marketing campaigns, produce marketing video
- Engage in customer support, Q&A sections to understand user need
